The A/C works fine at idle but at speed, especially when the rpm exceeds 2000, the A/C kicks out and is not quickly reset. It would run again when break was engaged, or if on the highway there was a sustained down grade. If I were to reach a stop and place the vehicle in neutral the A/C compressor would engage and cold air would blow into cabin. After replacement of what I was told was a high pressure sensor (part no. 95018104), the symptoms worsened somewhat in that occasionally even at idle, while in park, the A/C would not engage. The clutch would engage, there would be a “psst” sound, and the clutch would immediately disengage.
Also, occasionally, the headlights and dash light would dim and brighten. The timing of this issue did not seem to coincide with the A/C issues and I have never had a low battery issue.
