Sounds like it has 2x the oil charge, some sealer and is overcharged on refrigerant as well.

Time to take it apart. Recover the system.

Look at the expansion device first. Post a pic of whatever is stuck on it.

Then drill the accumulator and drain it. Remove the accumulator, drill the bottom of it with it laying on the bench - a 1/8" hole is big enough. Then stand it up in a container to catch the oil. Let it drain overnight, then measure the ounces of oil you removed from it.

Once you have done that, get back to us with the results.

It is currently cycling on the high pressure limit switch. Keep doing that and the compressor will wear out quick.

im a little confused on draining the old dryer

i dont want to leave the system open so if i remove the old dryer and install the new one

i then can start draining the old dryer
once the old dryer is fully drained ill know how much oil to add

do i simply remove the line going to the new dryer again
and add the oil or is there another way to add the oil

Opening system for a few minutes to even an hour. While not attract moisture unless it's raining and you're working outside.

i know how im going to do it
im gonna change the dryer and only replace the o rings on one side
then i can disconnect the one side add the oil and replace the o rings

this way the o rings are new and wont leak

A lot depends on what you find in the dryer.

If it has a pint of oil in it, then you may need to flush the system.

If it is bone dry, you need to look at the condenser.

the dryer had about an oz of oil in it
i added 3 oz of oil to the new dryer

i then went to charge it and i got about one can of freon in it
then the high side pressure went in the 400s so i turned the car off

i might just bring the car to the dealer to get fix i dont want to deal with it anymore
