I have a 2008 Hyundai Azera which I bought a couple of years ago. Last week the A/C quit working. After some investigation I found a blown fuse. It was the fuse that supplies power to the relay that sends a signal to the compressor clutch to engage. I looked for a spare fuse and all 4 spares, 10 & 15 amp were missing. The previous owner had replaced this fuse at least 4 times. The A/C had run for 2 summers for me before it blew. Does anyone know why this fuse keeps blowing? A/C pressures are correct.

By the way, I took it to an A/C repair shop and their solution was to replace the compressor and dryer. Cost was $915. Are any of these guys honest or competent?

Check the resistance on clutch coil- probably a dead short-- meaning bad coil, the coil can be replaced seperately, you mechanic has a boat payment to make, and wants you to fund it...
