Automotive ac mode changes

My 2003 Cadillac acts keeps switching modes from top to bottom wether on auto or not can someone tell me how to fix this problem

Does it ever switch any other way like from floor to dash (bottom to top)? Kinda sounds like a faulty mode door actuator, the little electric motor that controls where a door is positioned, thus where the air flows.

Hey Williamkoch, Could the temperature have been set at a point that would have caused this? I think you are hitting the wrong mode button which seems to have activated the automatic changes. If you still face the problem, then check this out for more help.
