2000 lexus sc400. Low side 36psi high side 225. Ac clutch cycles off and on quickly at idle when hot. Code 21 shows solar sensor problem. Can a bad solar sensor cause The clutch to cycle quickly?

Any defective component can cause issues with the a/c system. If you solar sensor is reading a incorrect temp. It "could" be sending a incorrect signal to the ecm. Really should not cause it to cycle. But again, defective item and you have issues.

Ok. Will clear code first. Will see if cluctch engages and stays engaged. Then wait for code to reset. Only one post on the web confirmed clutch and solar sensor issue? Will update
