1997 Toyota Tercel—Clutch Doesn't Engage, Blinking A/C Light

Im having similar issues with my 1997 Toyota Tercel at first the ac would work until the car got up to temperature then it would turn off and the ac light would start blinking and sometimes by playing with the ac switch it turns back on that was the case 2 months ago but now she doesn’t turn on the clutch doesn’t not engage I’ve re gassed the system 2 times and change the drier and pressure switch. But it doesn’t turn on please help

Meanwhile, I have some additional questions:
How did you recharge the system, and with what type of refrigerant?

Add any oil? What kind, and how much?

Did you evacuate the system down to about 29.9 inHg (+/- 500 microns) before recharging it?

Did you scan the car for trouble codes?
