2011 Honda Civic airflow problems.

I recently bought a Honda Civic 2011, but I'm not really pleased with the AC performance. Something I have noticed is that inmediately when you go out in the highway at high speed, the AC starts blowing colder air, but when you stop at a red light or stop sign the air suddenly starts to get a little hot.
And to make things worse, a couple days ago during a very hot day and a lot of traffic, the engine started to overheat, but when I turned off the AC the temperature started to go down inmeadiately.
So I removed the front bumper, and I saw that the condenser fins were all messed up, so I guess the issue could be related with the airflow due to the bad condition of the condenser. I have already removed the condenser, but I'm wondering if it would be worth to try to straighten the fins and cleaning the condenser of dirt and debris, or it would not make any difference and it will be better to buy a new one.
It is the OEM condenser, if I get a new one, most likely all I'm gonna be able to get is gonna be a chinese cheapo one.
