2014 volt evap question

so few questions, been so long since I checked on this board, all my old user name and password were probably for wiped in a forum update, had to register.
so I have a 14 volt, see dye in the evap drain. gotta pull the dash, blah. hate these new cars where it's a 2 day job to change the evap. but my question is what would be the best brand to put back in. normally I'd spend a little more and use the oem, but it seems from a quick Google search this is a pretty common fault with these cars. so maybe the oem isn't the best quality? I've got 90s cars with the original evap still in them working fine lol. gm things I guess.
anyways, I see oem and 4 seasons as options. anyone have any thoughts on which might last longer, I very much enjoy having this car and plan to keep it for as long as possible.
as for the electric compressor, I see they take poe oil. I have access to a Robin air ac machine but not one of the newer hybrid versions. I contacted them and asked if doing a hose flush before using it and adding oil by hand was enough to avoid issues. they basically said unofficially probably, but since it doesn't default to no oil injection like the hybrid specific models do, officially no it's not for use with both pag and poe. anything thought on that? it's almost do for a filter change anyways, I wouldn't mind doing a hose flush, replace filters, do another flush and add poe by hand. any thoughts? Just use it for recovery and charge.
and since I'm on the subject of electric ac compressors. I have 2 vehicles with electric ac and both ac work really well, that led me to wondering. I have a 90 firebird project car with the old leaky R4 comp. everything is still original and blew surprisingly cold for r134 swapped till the compressor leaked it out while parked on jack stands haha. they seem to make a new R4 not piston one that might not leak doesn't seem cool at idle well. they also sell brackets to install a sanden cycle type, but it's kinda ugly on top of the engine and my older stand alone ecm doesn't do great with cycling ac compressors with lumpy cams, no input for idle speed. years ago with the help of this board I put a v5 I had off a wrecked s10 on a 91 camaro I had at the time. it cooled really nicely, but my brackets were a hack job haha, was thinking about doing a v5 on this firebird too, but all these electric compressors got me wondering if it wouldn't be eaiser to just hide a electric off to the side somewhere out of the way or hidden, since I gotta make hoses anyways.
but that leads me to, does anyone know of any good ones? they all seem to be no name China stuff with no specs. I know my 2 cars use very high voltage ones. one is 300v and the other is 400v I believe, off the hybrid battery. is it even possible to make a 12v compressor that's any good? I don't mind putting a big alt on it. the common swap these days is the newer gm 220amp alt. they work amazing at idle speeds(more diodes or something). over 100amps at idle is no sweat from them.
sorry for the long post, just figured it would be better to not spam up the board.
