Cap for R134a self sealing 12oz can - how to find?

So the self-sealing 12oz cans don't always fully self seal.
Is there a cap available for them? The terms "r134a self sealing can cap" yields taps.
The tap specs indicate the can side is 1/2" acme but the acme caps found look like they are for valve or pump fittings and seem too tall/deep for the short can nipple.
If no cap available, I guess I could leave the tap on and put a sealing 1/4" cap on the tap fitting but I'd rather not have a tap locked to partially used can.
Anything else to accomplish this?
Thanks
