We don't know you, can't tell if you are doing it correctly. What do you mean "tried to fill"? Can you provide more explanation?
Was the leak fixed? It sounds very low on refrigerant so far.
Vacuumed down with what type of pump? One operated by compressed air?
Do you have a manifold gauge set? Or just the low side plastic gauge that comes with some of the refill kits. Did you add sealer?
Need more detail as Detroit mentioned.
