Looking for confirmation. GM A6 compressor using R-134 takes PAG 150, 10.5 oz? Is that total system capacity? 69 Camaro, factory system.
Also, is it filled through the suction port?

The GM A6 compressor takes between 10 and 11 ounces of oil (total system capacity), with some Corvettes using a slightly smaller A6 displacement-wise, IIRC. So you're in the ballpark, so to speak, with your '69 Camaro factory system. PAG 150 works, as long as you're starting with a clean system containing no mineral oil residue. The A6 has a sump and is drained and filled via a plug on the side.
Don't forget about the POA valve. You're converting to R-134a, so you'll need to re-adjust the POA to about 26 PSI. Otherwise, the system won't perform satisfactorily.

A6 compressors have an oil sump, and a gearotor type oil pump.
OIl should be placed in the sump of the compressor on the bench.
