I own a 2002 Honda Civic SI (the hatchback model with the 2.0 VTEC engine, different from all other Civic).

The OEM compressor is made by Honda (or Honda put its name on It, if it is made by somebody else)

What would be a good aftermarket compressor to use for replacement?

Thanks for your reply. My car, however, is a Civic SI, not a Civic L. The Civic SI engine is considerably different from the engines of the other Civic models. The replacement A/C compressor needs to be specifically approved for the 'SI' model.

The compressor I listed, states it's for the SI application.

My car is high mileage, over 300,000 miles. Would you recommend to replace the compressor clutch as well? My understand is that the clutch is a separate item and a new compressor will not come with it.

Not sure where you are shopping. The item we offer is a comp/clutch. As pictured in the link I posted.
