I understand the correct way to test an expansion valve. However, on a 67 corvette expansion valve there are two capillary tubes. One has the temp sensing bulb and the other goes to the POA valve.
When testing the valve off the car with hot and cold looking for pressure changes, do I need to plug the capillary going that would normally connect to the POA? I believe the answer is yes but need to verify.
