I am visualizing you on the blue ridge, a wonderful road, built by FDR under the CCC. I biked that road with a buddy in 2007 in June, a wonderful ride with all the twisties!!!
We would dip down into the valleys to eat at the local mom and pop places, a truly remarkable experience . We fixed an old juke box for the owner of one of the restaurants.
Sometimes we would get stuck behind RVs that weren’t supposed to be there in the first place But we could spin by them on the steep curves, where they could only creep.
