You did just fine- there can be from 1 to 3 shims- but never NO shims-- so removing the only shim is just fine

Truck not driven too much on weekends but I did drive it and had it running for over and hour and compressor never cycled off. Time will tell but I did order a new clutch set up. This one is worn and a little rusted, cleaned up a little bit.

Drove the truck for a few hours today and seems much better. Compressor didn't cut off at all maybe for a minute or two it got a little warm in truck but maybe clutch could be slipping alittle. Thank you for the help. Will be changing the clutch this week.
