Tim has a good point. You never use wrenches on service hoses, just snug them up with your thumb.
For kicks I am posting a closeup of my hose end and the YJ seals I use.
I use a dental pick (amazon) to dig the old seals out.
My understanding is that the seals will fit either 1/4" flare (which is what I use) or ACME (which I think is what you have). Do not worry about R12 or R134 for this application, I have no idea where that idea is coming from.
But if the brass parts are contorted from using tools, it may never seal properly.
There seems to be a wide gap in your knowledge base, suggest watching as many youtubes as possible to get a better idea of how AC works and how the tools, gauges, and hoses are used and handled. You will never see a pro using wrenches on hoses
