I have an '07 Acura TSX that started blowing hot air this year and I'm trying to track down the cause. Here's the scenario:
AC compressor clutch engages but it doesn't cycle, when you turn the AC on, the clutch doesn't cycle off on it's own, just stays running until you manually shut off AC.
With engine off the pressures on both sides are equal to one another, and about the ambient temp.
AC pressures at engine idle at 70 degrees ambient temp (40% humidity) are 60 PSI on low side and 85 PSI on high side with AC on full.
AC pressure at 2000 RPM at 70 degrees ambient temp are 10 PSI on the low side 100 PSI on the high side. When car returns to idle the pressure go back to 60 PSI and 85 PSI.
My thoughts are the following, either the system is undercharged, the expansion valve is faulty or the compressor is starting to go. Any insights would be appreciated before I start my attempt to fix.
Thanks.

Check heater is not getting hot water in a/c setting.

Re: A/C Troubleshooting Situation
Dead scroll compressor. It is shedding debris in to the condenser. Probably low on charge, but it is done. You can add a few ounces of refrigerant & re-test, but I suspect you will see the pressures remain the same.
The condenser is the primary system filter. Since it is 7+ years old I would replace it as well as the compressor. The condenser includes a new dryer, and is not expensive.

Re: A/C Troubleshooting Situation
If debris is present the condenser would catch the debris and drier is mounted on it also.
Have a great deal on an import compressor also.
