Printed a Shaft Seal Installer Tool on my 3D printer

Post by Diametric »

Could NOT find one for a TV12 Mazda Miata Compressor a while back.

So I made one...on my 3D printer.

IT WORKED !!

Cost: 13 CENTS

Disclaimer......I DID smooth it by sanding the outside of the printed part for about 10 minutes with 500 then 1000 emery paper.

Maybe we could have fun w/ your 3D printer w/ a grill escutcheon for Tim (ACKITS.COM) and 3D hood ornaments for bohica2xo's compact PU ('Yote) and my F150 (Boar head w/ tusks).

Well, that's nice I guess....whatever it is.....but what's it got to do with installing seals on a TV12?

I have to say, I'm still WAY more excited about my seal installer because for that compressor, they are not available....and it worked! Woot!
Not sure how your bradford herrick thingy could have helped me install the seal.
