You only have half of the tool set. The other (missing) half will be able to accommodate the larger Schrader valves pictured. A tool supplier for professional MVAC technicians should have them or can order them for you. The knurled double-sided tool is for removing and installing the Schrader valves after the refrigerant has been recovered and the system is empty.
