TXV system with thermostat switch?

In some countries TXV is a common setup and OT is uncommon .
Have not seen a mechanical thermostat in a passenger vehicle for a long time .
A thermistor is 1/ consistently accurate ,,,therefore 2/can run down to a lower off point ,,,equals == 3/ better evap performance

In the last 10yrs starting to see inaccurate thermistors on some brands

Toyota adopted thermistor technology back in the 80`s on the ND Nippon Denso ac units
