What is this for?

I replaced the compressor, expansion valve and desiccant in my 2016 Kia Sportage and have this green zip-tie cover thing that says "Warranty Void If Removed". It came with my air conditioning kit.

It kind of looks important...

To me, it looks like a tag for a shop to put on one of the new parts so the shop could tell if someone monkeyed with the system, and thus would void the warranty.

That's what it looks like to me too. If an AC shop services that car they put this on maybe over the low side port and then they won't honor their warranty if someone else clearly worked on it.
