which tube do i add oil to

I bought a new accumulator and want to make sure i add the oil into the right tube

the C shaped line goes to the evaporator and the straight line goes to the compressor
heres a pic

hey Tim where do you bring your recovered freon? Does autozone take it? Seems like they should since they sell freon like they do with motor oil.

I trade mine to the guy behind Walmart for EBT cards.

Honest answer. Was never an issue. We screen refrigerant before reclaiming. Our machine was a real recovery and recharge unit. So any refrigerant we reclaimed was reused.
