pulling vacuum

i been doing a little reading on vacuuming the 134a system and noticed

sometimes people remove the schrader valves before the vacuum that it makes for a better evacuation of the system
it this is the case how do you replace the valves before charging the system without letting air back in?

Ignore this idea, it requires special equipment, and is not needed on a system with such a small capacity
We already had a discussion on this less than a week ago on this board. Read all of the threads here.....

Can I mount my micron gauge onto the vacuum pump?

It is not recommended to do so as you are reading what the pump is doing and not what the pump is doing to the system. It is suggested that you tee off on the suction side of the system and mount the gauge there

how do you tee off on the suction side and vacuum your system and then charge without losing vacuum

one thing i thought about is if you could some how mount a micron gauge to the refrigerant pressure switch fitting thats located on the accumulator
