Schrader Valves Leaking Down

I was wondering if the Schrader valves used for air conditioning are any different than regular ole tire valves? Mine are both seeping over time down to zero.

I'm under the impression that they are similar but different.

I'd get some for AC use.

Agree.
Are you using the caps that go on top of the schraders? They are your final seal

Depending on the vehicle. They have valve and cap groupings.

Tim, It is a motorhome with generic type fittings on the metal lines. A diesel pusher. Do these take special valves. Mine are leaking. My system is down completely and I have telltale oil in the fittings to the brim on both sides.
