What exactly is an "mgm"?

It sounds like a coupler malfunction. Low side.

The low side fitting on the hose does not sound as if it has the proper connection.

new readings

Post by penguins25 »

just went out there and put the gauges on and here is what i got
low side 75-150
high side 300-500

both sides cycle back and forth through them numbers

my ac blows cool not cold

edit:
these readings were taken on max ac
theres a normal ac setting i can put it on but the ac doesnt blow as cool on this setting
i can go take anorther reading on normal if this would be helpful

Readings are too high. Spray the condenser with a water hose while monitoring the high side pressure. Does it drop like a rock? If so, start by checking airflow across condenser. Check the cooling fan also. If the high side drops, does the low side drop also?

i put the gauges on and got the water hose

its doing the exact same thing as before its going back and forth between
low side 75-150
high side 300-500
the water on the condenser does not drop the readings
