Compressor?

Post by walth »

Static charge 88psi @ 80deg outside temp, at idle the compressor goes from 90psi to 110psi, the low side goes from 70psi to 30psi. Cycles every 10 seconds. Compressor replacement time? 2002 Blazer.

Does it have the correct refrigerant level? With the low side dropping you have pumping action going on!

I guess the best way is to have it evacuated and weighed then refilled. Unless there is a way to determine how much to add.

You must have the correct refrigerant level in to determine any issues you may be having.
