Recover the system & weigh the remaining charge. This will tell you how big the leak is.

Then add dye to the system & charge with the correct weight. If it quits working again in 2 weeks, a UV light source will show you the leak.

single discharge valve on scroll can get trash under seat or rotate slightly away from discharge hole and still perform at 50%, but equalizes immediately. to see and repair valve problem :
1) Scribe/scratch line across front housing and also comp body as refrence for accurate reassembly and remove back bolts.
2) seperate joint and
3)expose discharge valve
3) fix valve problem

Guys i replaced the expansion valve and now the problem seems to be gone. Pressures equalize slowly. Will let you know if problem comes back.
