I bought a new SD 507. Got it today but it looks a little smaller than my old compressor. The 507 listed a bunch of smaller cars for application. Is this little compressor going to keep up the CFMs to cool a 29 ft. motorhome like my larger old one did? Hopefully it's much more efficient. 4 Seasons tells me it goes from a Honda Accord all the way up to a Peterbilt. Wow. Now how much oil to I add to the system equation for this compressor? Maybe 4 oz?? 4 Seasons had no idea, only application chart for cars.

I have no idea why one would use a 507 over an SD508 a vehicle of this size. In our link, the SD508 comes with R12 service ports and R134a oil. Mineral oil for R12 is available upon request.

One could have designed a compressor mount for the 507. That would seem odd.

Sorry, no thanks. I ship directly from the major vendors. So no need for inventory. eBay it and try and get some money back or exchange with the vendor you purchased from. If you were my customer I would have done an exchange.

Don't forget, I am running R12 so I need esther oil in it.

I had them toss a bottle of oil in the shipping box. Just drain the oil out the drain plug and refill.
