I just finished flushing my system as the previous owner mixed oils in a bad r12 to r134 conversion.
I have a fresh compressor, new drier, new POA and new hoses.
I plan on using r12.
Given this would you recommend using mineral oil and being locked into R12 or taking to opportunity to use ester oil so that down the road I could convert to r134 if needed.

Oil would still be contaminated with R12. So a proper flush and drier change would be needed before swapping refrigerants.
