Low pressure, static is 30psi.

System is down to 30psi so the compressor does not come on, how do you add dye to the system to check for leaks? Do I need to jumper the compressor?

Checked the static pressure and it is down to 30psi, what is the best way to pressure test the system? Does it have to be evacuated first or can I use argon to pressurize it to find the leak then evacuate and repair? 99 Dodge truck.

I guess the best way is to have it evacuated and weighed then refilled. Unless there is a way to determine how much to add.

Static charge 88psi @ 80deg outside temp, at idle the compressor goes from 90psi to 110psi, the low side goes from 70psi to 30psi. Cycles every 10 seconds. Compressor replacement time? 2002 Blazer.
