Nylog DISCONTINUED ???
I just went to look for some so I could post a link for a DIY'er that was having leak problems with o-rings, and the Nylog blue seems to be discontinued! WTH?? :o Is this yet another victim of supply chain issues, or have they decided to stop making the stuff? I can't fathom why - the stuff is fanta...

Re: 2014 Ram 2500 Hemi 6.4 refrigerant/oil capacities
Whelp, she's all done. Under hood sticker said what came out to 1lb. 5.92 oz. Oil capacity based on the prior year models going back to '07 was 6 oz. - used PAG 46 based on that info. Added 3 oz. to new compressor, vacuumed, and charged - she's blowing 40° rolling down the road at 83° ambient at 73%...

Re: '98 Nissan Altima - AC gradually gets warm
To me this is screaming a radiator/electric fan/clutch issue. The high side pressures could be getting way up there, and kicking off the compressor. Even with it running, the cooling will be terrible without the heat removal of the condenser. High and low pressures will start climbing without airflo...

2014 Ram 2500 Hemi 6.4 refrigerant/oil capacities
I was wondering if you guys could tell me the refrigerant capacity, and oil capacity/viscosity for a 2014 Ram 2500 Longhorn Lariat with a 6.4 Hemi engine? It has a 10SRE18 compressor. Can't seem to find any info on this one, since it's so new. Back story : Owner attempted his own A/C repair using bo...

Re: 1971 Chevy pickup
Stick with R12. Those under dash systems blow ice cubes when everything is right. I had one in my '72 El Camino when I lived in Phoenix - it was great! I ran Freeze 12 (80% 134a) in mine using a larger, parallel-flow condenser. Finally got ahold of some R12 many years later back in the Northeast - t...
