Changed the temperature sensor to one with a different range, 34-43F (rather than the kit supplied 24F low range) and now the compressor cycles and maintains a pretty constant air duct temperature. Luckily with this after market system I could make that modification and replace the sensor.

[*]I installed a aftermarket AC kit in my 2010 Wrangler. It works but with issues I am troubleshooting with the kit vendor but not getting very far.

The temperature sensor supplied with the kit Santech MT0761 looks like it works in the range of 24-36 degrees F.
