Re: Custom AC project - general feedback and condenser selection
Just because the case looks smaller doesn't necessarily mean that the displacement is less. It would be interesting to compare the displacement of the original compressor to the new one if you can find the specs for both. OEM is a TV14C (rotary compressor type): Capacity: cm^3/rev {cu in/rev} 138 {...

Mods: I appreciate the resource that this forum is and the knowledge and support from the moderators and members. Another thread on here about the same car and a similar problem is what prompted me to join and try to contribute and maybe "up the game" of us DIY folks to something beyond us...

Re: O-ring bead forming tool for aluminum hard lines
You can try Manual O-Ring Bead Rollers I have a smaller bead roller to be able to put a bead on larger aluminum tubing for my aluminum intercooler and radiator pipes. Other consultants will be along with more comments. Thanks for your thoughts. Yes, that (fitting the largest condenser) is central to my third...

O-ring bead forming tool for aluminum hard lines
This is one of a few questions (putting into separate threads) on my custom HVAC project. Is there a "hand" tool (as opposed to an industrial end-form machine) that can put an o-ring bead on aluminum tubing? I would like to retain OE engineering of having hard lines except for the lines to...
