Re: Sanden 706P Question

I'm still concerned about the accuracy of these gauges and the fact that I installed more than the recommended refrigerant. should prob get my own set of gauges or take it to a shop get their opinion. but I hear you. thank you.

Re: Sanden 706P Question

Yes. I'm sure that's what it is. I was able to get it charged up. It's blowing 45 degrees. I probably overcharged by 3oz. Readings were in line with Vintage Air but I know I added more refrigerant than what is called for. Will drive it today. Connect gauges and take some readings; bleed off if I hav...

Re: Sanden 706P Question

The only numbers on this unit are 706P embossed into the body. One internet search with 706P yields the words "peanut style." There is no tag or label. I believe it also goes by the name 7B10. Does that sound familiar?

Re: Sanden 706P Question

thx for the reply. There were two questions. 1. why is manifold gauge set only showing vacuum pull on Hi side and not Lo side I think I solved that. I replaced both valve cores and immediately got vacuum on both sides. Lo -25Hg and Hi -30Hg 2. I was asking if anyone knew which port on this Sanden 70...

Re: Manifold high and low side vacuum PLEASE HELP!

In the photo, I see the vacuum scale on the low-side or left gauge, as it should appear. However, a Manifold Gauge Set for R-134a will be more granular in its graduations and also have a corresponding refrigerant scale in degrees Fahrenheit (°F). Cusser posted that image. The Amazon special I borro...

Re: Manifold high and low side vacuum PLEASE HELP!

That you tube video has some bad info. Most gauge sets do not have a schrader at the yellow hose for purging. You would crack it loose to purge the hose. Also, put the blower on high speed not low speed. The you tuber was adding refrigerant as a liquid. you can not do this unless you are charging a...
