Problems with a Honda Civic 2011.
In a previous post I was asking for help deciding if it would be a good idea to replace the condenser of a Honda Civic 2011. So I changed the condenser and added 50ml or 1.7oz of PAG46 oil in the larger hose of the condenser just as the service manual says, I felt that it was too much oil, but I dec...

Re: 2011 Honda Civic airflow problems.
All right, I will change the condenser then, thank you for your answers. Unfortunately I'm outside the US, so I can't buy my parts on ACKits.com, I'm in Central America. And the radiator and fans are in great shape. By the way, what type of PAG and how much oil do you recommend to add to the new con...

Re: Frontier KA24 2001 making a horrible noise.
It turns out that it was just a loose V belt haha, I guess that sometimes it's bad to overthink a problem and it's better to just begin with the simple things and the basics. Thank you very much for your answer. See what I posted earlier about my feeling that the shorter belts work better for AC an...

2011 Honda Civic airflow problems.
I recently bought a Honda Civic 2011, but I'm not really pleased with the AC performance. Something I have noticed is that inmediately when you go out in the highway at high speed, the AC starts blowing colder air, but when you stop at a red light or stop sign the air suddenly starts to get a little...

Frontier KA24 2001 making a horrible noise.
Hello, I hope you all are doing well. So I have a Nissan Frontier 2001 that has been sitting for a couple of months without being used. The AC has always worked really good, the only problem I had experienced with it was related with the clutch gap a couple years ago, but that was very easy to fix. ...

I'm using R134, and my compressor is for r134tbirdtbird wrote: ↑Fri Sep 29, 2023 9:37 am What refrigerant are you using?? R12 or R134 ??
I just noticed the charging ports on your comp are R12 ports.
Also, the data that Tim came up with just above shows the comp is designed to use R12.

Re: Charging a custom system.
Well, with that being said, I guess that It is clear that the compressor rotation it's not that important. And yes, I get what you say, I'm not a technician just a young DIYer, and I'm learning on the way, slow, but learning. I have completely disconnected the heater core from the cooling system, ju...

Re: Charging a custom system.
Forget the block type valve. You need to determine the direction of rotation, this is very important. Your engine is CCW! You keep thinking also that it is the amount of charge that is wrong with your system. Not really so. You have way too many other issues to sort out. Re-read everyone's posts......
