Re: O-ring bead forming tool for aluminum hard lines

Proper mating of a fitting and line when welded or brazed with the proper equipment will be a fine option. We used a product I posted a link to for years and years. We made hoses daily with the alum rod and oxy-acetylene torch. That is proven technique. and it would be SO COOL to be able to make cu...

Re: 1997 Chevy C/K1500 - Capacity and other questions

Andrew, you might have read my recent post on the Excursion . I'll recap real quick. I reached out to our in-house tech guy. He said, in some cases, especially Ford. Re: Rear A/C not working

I would have to take my vehicle back in to have it evacuated and recharged to find out home much refrigerant was added. I’m not sure what the mechanic added a couple weeks ago when the A/C was checked. Sticker under the hood says it should be 2.31 lbs. Does the mechanic have it in the record? Many ...

Re: pressures won’t equalize to saturated pressures with system off

I also do not understand what you are saying about your gauge ranges and indicated readings. A picture of your gauge showing this condition might be helpful. How lo...
