I have a 1976 Cadillac Mirage. I am working on the ac system. I have rebuilt the VIR receiver, put on a new compressor, flushed all the lines, condenser and evaporater. I then evacuated the system (no leaks) and charged the system with 134a. As long as I have a jumper on the compressor tha ac works ...
