It's all irrelevant, if your charge is gone, low pressure switch won't allow compressor to even start so it's not going come ON no matter what.

I held the top case section with a strap wrench to remove the mounting flange only. The put a seal protector over the shaft trying to save/reuse the seal. I forgot that there is hole which the shaft passes through behind the seal a short distance. Using a gear puller on the end of the seal protector...

More confusion! Another short YouTube video of the compressor with 200psi of nitrogen on it showing dye leaks which showed up when submerged in water. Compared to my other video above, leaks show under one condition but not under others!

Before installing the compressor would hold 150psi over night but would lose a few psi at 200psi but I thought, how long or how often with it be 200psi while in use?? I installed it. It held 100psi but lost a little at 150psi of nitrogen. Using a liquid leak detector, I couldn't find any leaks. I of...

Just like mk378 stated, your low side Schrader valve isn't being open by your coupler. The 72psi is just what flowed from the refrigerant tank up to the low side Schrader valve. My gauge set couplers have a built in on/off valve so I won't run into that problem. Are you sure your's aren't adjustable...
