Re: Leak
Just in case anyone is interested, I wound up getting the new line and it was actually pretty easy to install. I did a quick test and it seems to be holding pressure, so it's evacuating now.

Re: Leak
You'd need aluminum SwageLok metric fittings, so likely would need to order those. My suggestion would be to remove the front end stuff and then remove the condenser, that's what I'd do. See Posts 27 and 28 here https://www.clubfrontier.org/threads/2004-frontier-king-cab-thread.206842/page-2 No nee...

Re: Leak
That is a nightmare I know, that's what I've been trying to say LOL. I'd be looking at a salvage yard, or finding the male end somewhere and getting swagelok fittings Excellent idea!! Find one in a salvage yard and just cut it off in the straight part where it's crossing over the condenser and spli...

Re: Leak
I think I found it. It'a $175 with shipping. I'll call my Nissan dealer tomorrow and see if they will confirm the part number. If so I'll R&R whatever it takes.

Re: Leak
It is the solid aluminum liquid line from the condenser to the evaporator. I looked online and couldn't find one. It's worth looking some more I'm all for saving money. If I had a part number it would help, but I haven't even been able to find that.

Re: Leak
Mine is a 3.3 5 speed. I called ackits, he said he don't have it and can't make one. I'm going to call a local guy that makes hydraulic lines and see if he can do something. If that don't work out I'll see if I can get the old one out and back in. If so, I'll fork over the $250

Re: Leak
Well I found a kit with a fatter o-ring at NAPA and some sealer called “Leak Lock” at an HVAC store. When I took it apart the line broke. I called Nissan, I can get a new line for $250. If it’s even possible to install, it would take a lot of patience and maybe some luck. It goes up and thru the bul...

Re: Leak
Thanks for the replies! It will probably be Tuesday before I get back to it. The HVAC store will be open then too, so I’ll pick up some Nylog. I’d never heard of it. I’ll use a little bit on both lines and even that sensor, since I’ll be right there. I haven’t worked on cars for a living, or even a ...

Leak
Hi, I just replaced the compressor, and condenser, etc on my 2004 Frontier. It wouldn’t hold a vacuum so I put a little freon in and could immediately hear the leak. The high pressure line was loose at the New condenser, I could move it, not a lot, but a little is too much. So, I bought a new low si...
