That makes sense on the compressor design and rotation.
Can you elaborate on the second part? I'm not exactly sure what you mean about suction gas flowing upwards.

Thank you for that. Can this compressor be run in either direction? The one I pickup up came off an accord where the engine runs counter clockwise when looking at the pulley side. I see it listed for a lot of applications that are standard rotation also.

I know that vintage air makes pre made hard lines with o-ring fittings on both ends. Does someone make a tool that I could do them myself with?

Compressor mounting on it's side
I have a custom build going and I am looking at using a Denso 10pa17c. Is it possible to mount this compressor with all mounting bolts facing straight up and the hose manifold on the side? I've spent several hours on Google with no answers. Thanks

First off it sounds like it's low on 134. The fans run based off system pressure. At 200psi it probably hasn't seen enough pressure to turn them on. Second, as a current GM tech id say check the condenser and lines for any signs of dye. If you don't find one then it's about 97% certain that the rear...
