I agree with the previous comment about the FS remanufactured compressor. Most if not all MVAC pros recommend installing only brand-new compressors.
You didn't have abnormally high pressures on the high side before you replaced the components (or at least I don't think you did). So another aspect ...

Re: Schraeder valve replacement
FJC produces good quality Schrader valves (valve cores) and is an OE supplier. Be sure to install a new cap onto each port because the cap is the primary seal, not the valve core.

Re: Vette conversion
I'm not an expert on this, but the outermost dimension of the threads measures 0.375 or 3/8". I'm guessing that the actual dimension at the root of the threads is a bit smaller. So you would need a switch with that dimension.

Re: Vacuumed and Charged 2 Vehicles & Have The Same Problem.
Those of us who have a long history of working on MVAC (Mobile Vehicle Air Conditioning) systems generally do not rely on shop manuals for pressure readings. Experience plays a part. In addition, a number of parameters can and will affect pressures, only one of which is ambient temperature ...

Re: Vette conversion
The so-called liquid line should have a threaded connection matching that of the high-pressure switch. Sounds to me like you might have an incorrect switch.

Re: Vacuumed and Charged 2 Vehicles & Have The Same Problem.
I can't help but wonder about your charging procedure and whether you've done it correctly. The reason I say that is because at one point you mention weight, and at another you mention pressure.
Regardless, the charge amount must be weighed-in exactly to the manufacturer's specifications.

Re: 2009 unfit Honda Fit
I presume that the 150 PSI reading you got on the low side is the static pressure (compressor not running). If so, the system now appears to be overcharged. What was the ambient temperature when you got that reading?

Re: 2015 Lexus NX - AC not cold
At a maximum ambient of only 10°C (50°F), it's just too cool yet to test A/C performance. At that temperature, the compressor is probably running at minimum displacement. Suggest waiting for warmer ambients--at least 27°C (80°F)--for meaningful system testing.
