Good point - I never thought of of just doing the bearing. I've done that for fan pulleys before.

It is serp belt driven. I just started putting "2 and 2" together and realized that if such little specs of metal made it thru the condenser and all the way to the orifice, the pump is probably toast or almost there and that the condenser needs to be replaced too... I literally just purcha...

I replaced a rusted out receiver drier on a 2004 Crown Victoria. I pulled vacuum for one hour and then observed it holding vacuum for a few hours - no leak is suspected. The problem is that when the A/C compressor is activated for the first time, it makes this ridiculous "stall" noise when...
