Re: 50lb recovery tank charging
Thank you. I’ll use the blue line with compressor running in the car and use the scale to track the Freon weight. I’ll also make sure I keep an eye on the gauges.
Thanks again!

Re: 50lb recovery tank charging
Thanks. So if I want to charge using vapor (car running through low side port) I can use blue valve but can’t trust the weight?

50lb recovery tank charging
I have a 50lb recovery tank that’s hooked up to a robinair recovery machine.
If I disconnect the tank and want to charge my car using a scale instead of the machine, do I use the blue or red valve? I’m pretty sure it’s the blue but want to make sure.
Thanks,
Ed

Robinair R134 50lb tank adapter for R12 hoses
I’ve been trying to find the correct adapters so I can hook up my robinair 50lb r134 tank to my robinair recycler that has r12 hoses. I believe the tank has 1/2” acme and I need to convert it to 1/4” sae (I believe that’s the r12 hose size). One of the 3 adapters needs to have a schrader valve for t...

Re: Looking for Alma compressor
Hi Tim Yes, that was me. I was looking to make sure that the cross reference was correct. He confirmed 2:00, 5”, no SHS. Does the one you sent the link for have the SHS? Again, just want to make sure I order the correct one. The picture in the second link without the SHS looks like the clutch connec...
